This is a modern re-telling of the Dickens classic. It seems that the Spirit of Christmas - so evident at the end of Dickens tale - has not survived through the succeeding generations. The last of the Scrooge line is a woman named Ernestina who must, in the same way as her illustrious forbear, learn the lessons of the true spirit of Christmas. Carolers, musicians, and, of course, ghosts abound. A holiday treat for the entire family!

A Groovy Comedy by William Shakespeare
Directed by Jessie Olson
This lesser known Shakespearean comedy gives center stage to the familiar Falstaff. The bawdy, greasy knight has descended upon Windsor. However, he has run out of money. To save himself from this predicament, he devises a plan wherein he will seduce Mistress Page and Mistress Ford. The two clever friends are mortified by the receipt of two identical, not so flattering, love letters. In return, they contrive the means by which to lead Falstaff on and humiliate him over and over again. Not realizing the vindictive nature of their scheming, Mr. Ford suspects his wife for her infidelity and adds a twist to these comic scenes with his illogical jealousy. In the midst of Falstaff's humiliations, there is the wooing of Anne Page by three separate and unique gentlemen from Windsor; the foppish Slender, the fashionable French Dr. Cauis, and the young, noble Fenton. All comes together in the end, where each character gets his/her just reward.

*** Special Midnight Performances of The Rocky Horror Show ***
Friday Night, April 11 and Friday Night, April 18
We would like to take you on a strange journey. It seemed a fairly ordinary night when two clean-cut, young adults set out to visit their former professor. The adventure begins when a blow out on a deserted road forces the naive couple to seek assistance at a strange castle - residence to a group of bizarre characters and the laboratory of a maniacal transvestite scientist. It was a night out they were going to remember for a very long time. This cult classic musical comedy is a campy, high-spirited salute to horror movies, rock & roll, and sexual liberation. Whether you're a Rocky fanatic or you're doing the time warp for the very first time, you're sure to shiver with antici---pation. This strange journey begins in April of 2003 at the Barre Players Theater on the common in Barre, Massachusetts. Don't dream it - Be it!

Like the famous novel, this play follows the story of Anne Shirley and her life on Prince Edward Island. Anne is an orphan, who is mistakenly sent to live with unmarried brother and sister, Mathew and Marilla Cuthbert at their home, Green Gables. Despite the fact she wasn't a boy, they decide to keep her. Throughout the years, Anne makes friends and rivals at school. She excels as a student, despite her many foolish mistakes, like dyeing her hair green and falling off a roof as result of a dare. Marilla finds herself attached to Anne and increasingly proud of her, breaking through her hard exterior. Mathew never hesitates to show his appreciation and affection for the young girl, despite his regular shyness
