A new Christmas show by local playwright, Cindy Richard. This joyous celebration of the season shows how a newcomer from up North, Mrs. Klause, helps put on the local Holiday Show and in the process teaches the townspeople about the spirit of Christmas. From bratty children and catty stage mothers to an obnoxious Mayor and her hen-pecked husband to the love-struck Sheriff or the three young orphans, Mrs. Klause weaves her magic around them all. But is she Mrs. Claus or isn't she? Come to the Barre Players Premiere Performance followed by a Wine and Cheese Reception on November 29 at 8:00 PM performance or to the regular performances on December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 8:00 PM and December 3, 10 and 17 at 2:00 PM at the Barre Players Theater.

April 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 2001
..."things that go kerplunk in..." Barre?!
It's only Lipton! God's own messenger (albeit inept!) tumbling down and landing in the middle of Joe Benjamin's backyard. The laughs follow one after another in this seldom-performed Neil Simon comedy. Based on the Book of Job, it is a lighthearted look at testing the faith of Man. Lightning bolts fly and thunder rolls amid hilarious and zany dialogue.
