Blossom is then banished to the village where she is befriended by the villagers. Grizelda's plan is soon discovered by Glorene, a mild-mannered seller of herbs who is really a good witch. Glorene must then come up with a plan to reverse Grizelda's spell and return Princess Blossom to her rightful place at the castle. The show spawned such musical hits as "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning," and "Beauty School Dropout."

Madame DeBoshe suspects her husband of having an affair and, of course, the poor man is the only one on stage who isn't! Double entendres abound and situations arise out of mistaken identity, misplaced correspondence, a lost "silver palate," and a revolving bed! Definitely politically incorrect!
