GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF
PLAY PROPOSALS BY DIRECTORS
Proposals submitted to the Play Reading Committee for perusal and potential approval should include the following:
1. Name, address, phone number, and e-mail addres of the director.
2. Title and short synopsis of the script - to include number in cast, ages, and short character
descriptions.
3. The month and year the director wishes to offer the script for production; and an alternative
month/year, if the first choice is not available.
4. Directors should, if possible, make sure the rights to the scripts are available.
5. An established budget involved in the production, i.e.: Royalty fees, script fees, publicity cost
($250.00), set construction cost, set design cost, costume cost, musical accompaniment fees,
choreographer fees, sound and/or lighting fees.
6. Producer, stage manager, and production team (if possible).
7. Brief description of experience.
We are now accepting proposals for the 2010/2011 season.
Slots open are: June 2010 (Youth Production), August 2010 (Young Adult Production), October 2010, December 2010, March 2011, and May 2011.
